Mtonga crowned Miss Culture Malawi 2021

Zomba-based model Malumbo Mtonga on Saturday night was crowned the winner for the inaugural Miss Culture Malawi 2021.

The 25-year-old shrugged off competition from 12 other contestants during an event held at Amaryllis Hotel in Blantyre. Mwasalipa Mfune emerged First Princess while Murimu Kachitsa was crowned the Second Princess.

The event was spiced up with performances from reggae/dancehall artist Sangie, McLuther and Ugandan Levixone who has recently collaborated with Malawian Wendy Harawa.

Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Culture Michael Usi also graced the occasion.
