FCB Nyasa Bullets FC quintuple winning coach Kallisto Pasuwa on Saturday exercised caution when he was asked about his future with the club.

The Zimbabwean tactician, who has a year remaining on his contract, has been linked with South Africa and Ugandan clubs.

But speaking to reporters after the Zamadolo Airtel Top 8 final, which his team won 1-2 against Mafco FC, he said: “Remember, I still have a year left on my contract and I have to fulfill it.

“If anything, I will have to talk to [Bullets] management.”

Pasuwa: I have a running contract

But speaking in separate interviews last week, his manager Gibson Mahachi and local representative Felix Ngamanya Sapao confirmed that there have been enquiries from some foreign clubs within the continent.

Mahachi, who is based in Harare, said it was expected that teams would inquire about the coach “owing to his achievements”.

On his part, Sapao confirmed that there have been enquiries from South African DStv Premiership side Richards Bay “and a top Ugandan club”.

He said: “But then Pasuwa has a contract that runs until 31st December 2024. He gets a good pay at Bullets which has an annual 10 percent pay increase. So, perhaps let us wait and see.”

But Bullets have played down the reports, insisting that the former Zimbabwe national football team and Dynamos FC coach is going nowhere as he has a running contract with them.

Pasuwa has guided Bullets to five consecutive TNM Super League titles and this season, he has led them to a clean sweep, winning the league, Ibongetse Castel Challenge Cup, FDH Bank Cup, ZamadoloAirtel Top 8 and the NBS Bank Charity Shield.
