Percy Manyozo goes international
Gods appear to be smiling for celebrated music producer Percy Manyozo—aka Big Name Maker—of Pro-pee Studios in Blantyre, who has just produced a track for a Zambian renowned artist Dizzy Don.
According to Manyozo, the track, Wapamtima, which features Malawi Music Award winning artist Dan Lu, is his first step of breaking into the international music production market.
“I think it is the hope of every artist to move ahead. In fact, it has always been my dream to take my music production to the international audience. This, I think, is a critical first step towards it,” he said.
Dan Lu added that Dizzy Don is not an ordinary artist in Zimbabwe.
“He is a renowned hip hop performer from the capital city, Harare. He is best known for his highly adaptive and varied rapping style ranging from fast-paced rap, mono-tone rap and harmonised vocals.
