President of the Republic of Malawi, I would reflect on my performance in the past six months as I start the New Year.

If I were APM, I would appreciate the need to improve on the way I handled political and economic challenges in 2014.

Oh yes, if I were His Excellency the President of Malawi, I would accept the harsh reality that my performance was somehow below expected standards, but that there is plenty of room for improvement and I can pick myself up and carry on with the journey.

I would appreciate, if I were the good professor, the need to address the high cost of living and make an effort to get in touch with the masses on what my government is doing to address economic problems affecting the country.

I would also see the need to be proactive, than reactive, when dealing with serious issues.

That is if only I were the President. Fortunately, I am not the big shot and I am just a mere scribe that is Garry.
