Urban music rhymester Piksy (Evance Zangazanga) has said in the coming three years, he wants to pursue his dream of becoming a chartered accountant.

On Saturday, Piksy posted on his Facebook page: “Going back to school….titchache izi,” the message was followed by an ACCA logo and a graduation cap.

The message received many hits as most of his friends and fans encouraged him to go back to school to become a chartered accountant.

In an interview, Piksy said it was his dream to become a chartered accountant and feels now is the time. He said he will spend most of his time in the corridors of the Malawi College of Accountancy in Blantyre.

“I will be going to school on Wednesdays at the Malawi College of Accountancy. It has always been my dream to become a chartered accountant someday. So, I am going to use my music and ambassadorship to pay for my school fees,” he said.

Will it affect his music career?

“No. It won’t affect my music career, neither will it affect my ambassadorship,” says Piksy, who is also a brand ambassador for Airtel Malawi.

“I am sure God had a purpose putting me where I am now,” he states.

Piksy has recently become one of the hottest urban artists in Malawi since the launch of his album Maso in September 2012. He has featured in collaborations with several musicians as well as made the list in great shows such as the Malawi vs Zambia show hosted by MultiChoice Malawi recently.

He has already said he will be working on a new album this year under the Nde’feyo record label and a DVD of his 2012 release Maso.
