The ongoing K400 000 $1 000) legislator Eunice Makangala-sponsored pool tournament enters seventh week in Ndirande Township, Blantyre with excitement building up.
Young Snipers lead the 11-team competition following an unbeaten run in seven games played as of the weekend, league coordinator Dave Lonjezo Mallunga said in a statement.
“The 11-team tournament has drawn a lot of young talented players in the game, itching for superiority. Teams have responded positively to the games which are played every weekend,” Mallunga noted.
Trailing Snipers are Safa City, followed on third place by Rushers, Ndirande Stars, Ware Stars, Carport, Lower Tarvern, Shushe, Peace Magents, Thandeka and Nzika at the tail-end.
