Wanderers extend Bob’s attachment in United Kingdom
Mighty Wanderers have extended head coach Bob Mpinganjira’s attachment in the United Kingdom.
According to a press statement released by the Lali Lubani Road outfit on Wednesday, Mpinganjira, who was expected to return this week, has secured another two-week attachment at Queens Park Rangers (QPR) in London from April 13-25.

This comes after completing his initial two-week attachment at Patrick Thistle in Scotland.
The new attachment will see him working closely with the English club’s Under-18 and development squads where he is expected to observe coaching sessions, physical preparation, gym work and video analysis.
Wanderers president Thomson said the latest attachment shows that the club’s ambitions that go beyond our borders.
He said: “The TNM Super League title last year was evidence of what this club can do when it commits to excellence. Securing a second placement of this kind at a renowned English club like QPR is a statement of that ambition. We want our head coach to be exposed to the best methodologies in the world and that investment will be felt on the pitch in Malawi.”
On his part, Mpinganjira said QPR attachment will help him enhance his technical expertise.
He said: “Every serious coach must keep learning and there is no better classroom than working within a professional English football environment.”.
Meanwhile, in his absence, Wanderers will be under assistant coach McDonald Nginde Mtetemera in tomorrow’s highly-anticipated Blantyre Derby against arch-rivals Nyasa Big Bullets at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.
