Babatunde commits to Bullets; Chirwa, Nyasulu exit confirmed
Nigerian striker Babatunde Adepoju has extended his loan deal with TNM Super League giants FCB Nyasa Bullets by another year.
The forward was loaned to Bullets from South African’s Motsepe Foundation Championship side Venda Academy FC in 2024.

Following the expiry of the one-year loan deal, he was expected to return to South Africa, but the two sides have agreed to extend it.
The development means Bullets have beaten Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and Creck Sporting Club in the chase for the player’s services.
Babatunde said he is excited to extend his stay at Bullets.
“I am happy to have extended the loan deal with Bullets, a club which I have achieved a lot with. I look forward to staying at the club for another season,”
“I could have signed for another club, but my heart is with Bullets.”
Meanwhile, Bullets have also announced the departure of captain Gomezgani Chirwa and Nickson Nyasulu, who was the club’s Player of the Season last year.
In a statement, the People’s Team said the two players will leave the club when their contracts expire next month.
The statement reads: “The two defenders played an integral part in the dominant Bullets that won 15 trophies between 2019 and 2024, including the 2023 quadruple.
“Everyone at Bullets would like to thank Chirwa and Nyasulu for their contribution to the club and we wish them all the best.”
Chirwa, 28, joined Bullets from Civil Service United in 2019 and went on to make 186 appearances for the club.
“Nyasulu, 26, arrived at Bullets through our reserves side in 2028 before graduating to the first team at the start of the 2019 season and made 149 appearances,” the statement further reads.
