If I were Peter Mutharika
President of the former governing Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), I would realise that the chaos that has rocked my party needs urgent attention and I could be part of the problem.
If I were Adadi, I would appreciate the harsh reality that the party is headed for disaster if the rot worsening in the main opposition party is not dealt with promptly.
Oh yes, if I were the former president of the Republic of Malawi, I would accept that there are serious divisions emanating from succession wrangles behind the scenes.
If I were APM, I would realise that in any grouping there are bound to be differences and firing people is not a solution
The picture being painted out there Adadi is that the party does not believe in political tolerance and intraparty democracy.
How I wish I were the professor of the ndiwanyenyanyenya fame, because I would realise that the last thing that this country needs is a weak opposition; hence, the need to put the house in order by among other things, calling for a convention where people can choose a new leader to take the party forward. But I am just Garry!
