Sope Kaira and Roza Mbilizi emerged winners in men’s and ladies’ categories respectively with 18 points each in Exp Momentum Wednesday Ball Pool at Blantyre Sports Club.
Kaira and Mbilizi, who played off handicapp eight and seven respectively, thanked the sponsors for the wonderful prizes, and their playing partners.
Said Kaira: “I believe I was in the mood today and I played good golf.”
James Shonga was the runner-up in men’s category on 17 points after counting out Captain Peter Fiwa who in turn counted out Muhammed Patel to finish third.
In ladies category, Sara Hughes was the runner-up on 15 points after she counted out Carol Banda.
In subsidiary prizes, Banda was nearest to the pin on hole 12 while Mbilizi had the longest drive on hole 11.
