Reggae artists who prepared to mesmerise fans at Blantyre Youth Centre on Sundayduring a memorial service for Jamaican legend Peter Tosh have expressed disappointment over low patronage.

The show was organised by Zeni Zeni Entertainment, owned by musician Collins Chitimbe in conjunction with Solid Rocks Band.

Despite an inspiring and energetic performance by the artists, few people turned up for the show.

“We have not received the support we intended to get. We thought the place would be fully packed, but to our surprise, people have not turned up for the show,” said one of the up-and-coming artists who performed at the show.

Ndirande-based dancehall artist Nep-Man said the organisers should have at least publicised the event a little bit more.

Among other supporting acts at the event were Dictator, Desert Eagle, Empress Payaka, Star Marley, Paul Kalumbi and Limbani Dube, formerly known as Limbani Banda.
