Miss True African Queen heads North

Organisers of the 2013 Miss True African Queen will be at Mzuzu Hotel on Saturday to identify five women to represent the Northern Region during national finals scheduled for Lilongwe on December 6 2013.

According to Lwazi Mbowa, founder and director of Lwazi Promotions which is running the pageant, interviews will be done during the day.

“We are already in Mzuzu and we are calling upon ladies, including those with physical challenges who are beautiful and with big bodies, to try their luck.

“It is about confidence and the pageant’s objective is to build confidence in women who feel sidelined; so, anyone can make it,” she said.

This is the second edition after Blantyre where four ladies were picked. After Mzuzu, the crew will be in Lilongwe
