New Wanderers replicas hit market

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers new replica jerseys have hit the market.

A press statement released by the club says the replica jerseys are in the team’s two traditional colours of blue and white.

Reads the statement in part: “We are excited to announce the arrival of our first consignment of replica jerseys for all enthusiastic fans of our beloved team.

“The blue jerseys will be priced at K15 000 while the white jerseys will be available for K20 000.

“We encourage all our supporters to show their unwavering support for the team by purchasing the replica jerseys.”

The club’s board secretary Chancy Gondwe said they have ordered 6 000 jerseys for a start.

He said those interested can contact the club’s chief executive officer Panganeni Ndovi on 0999 937 937 or the national supporters committee chairperson Mervin Nkunika on 0995 004 492.

“These jerseys will be sold in all our co-sponsor Ekhaya Farm Foods shops nationwide,” said Gondwe.

The club’s national supporters committee secretary general Dave Pemba said they will ensure that the replica jerseys are accessible nationwide.

“We are working on logistics to ensure that our supporters can easily buy the jerseys apart from our sponsor Ekhaya’s shops,” he said.
