Reunion Insurance, Globe Internet rolls reunion online

Reunion Insurance Company Limited and Globe Internet Limited have partnered to roll out Reunion online, a platform that will simplify insurance purchase process and reinforce customer experience.

The online platform was developed by Globe Internet Limited, an Internet and network services provider and is run on its Yankho online.

In a statement on Tuesday, Reunion Insurance technical manager Hastings Kapesa said the online platform will enable customers to transact from the comfort of their homes and offices.

“There will be no more paperwork, no more waiting, no more visiting our office, but that will be optional because we are not closing our office,” he said.

Kapesa said their customers can now buy, renew, upgrade or inquire about Reunion Insurance’s services through www.ri.online.mw, adding that customers will receive policy certificate online as a PDF copy.

Globe Internet Limited chief commercial officer Elias Imaan said they noted a gap in the insurance market as customers had to physically come to the insurance firm’s offices to transact.

“We noted that the process to transact insurance business was cumbersome and one was bound to get tired along the way,” he said.

Reunion online has integrated with various payment gateways, including mobile money platforms such as Airtel Money and TNM Mpamba and also Standard Bank plc, according to a statement from the insurance firm.
