Celebrated light-heavyweight boxer Isaac Chilemba is set to return to the ring on November 16 in the United States.

However, Chilemba said his prospective opponent is yet to be known as there are a few being considered.

“I will let you know as soon as I know who I am up against before I leave for the States to finish training. I am now signed with Main Event Promotions of New Jersey for the next three years, which I am happy of and I much appreciate my manager Jodi Solomon for securing such a good deal for me,” said Chilemba.

Chilemba, who boasts 20-2-2 [nine TKOs], last took to the ring in May, when he failed his WBC world title bid after losing to Briton Anthony Bellew.

The 26-year-old Chilemba declared: “The Golden Boy is not finished yet. I will be back stronger and more determined than ever.”

Latest International Boxing Organisation (IBO) rankings show Chilemba is ninth in the world and first in Africa.

Meanwhile, Chilemba is reportedly considering relocating to the US.
