Rhoda J back with I Wanna Know
Silky-voiced songbird Rhoda J has dropped a new song titled I Wanna Know which focuses on the importance of love and being together for genuine reasons.
In an interview, Rhoda J whose real name is Rhoda Jedegwa said her song poses some questions to lovers if they are together for the right reasons or just the looks.
“It features Pon G who also produced the track,” she said.
Rhoda J said she is excited to drop the new song which will introduce her in a special way as many Malawians got to know her with a cover of Lucius Banda’s Nthawi.
“I am very happy that we will drop the song which has meaningful lyrics,” she said.
She sings in Part: “Babe do you love me,
Do you care for me?
From deep down your heart?
I wanna know, ndikufuna ndidziwe…”
The songbird sings with layered, gorgeous, soft harmonies and incredible heart-soothing high-notes, before a catchy, driving drum beat comes in. Rhoda J, previously known as the Ghetto Worshipper, is still setting herself up in the music industry.
