to do everything possible
This time the Joseph Kamwendo-coached outfit is hoping to utilise home advantage ground as the two sides wrap up the battle for the semi-final spot.
The former Flames captain reiterated in a pre-match interview that they will fight their lungs out.
He said: “It’s a cup final for us. We are very ready for them. We have played them twice already, so we know each other.”
Kamwendo, however, believes they have an advantage as they are at home.
He said: “Very big advantage though we are playing the defending champions. But we are ready.
“It’s our chance to go to the semis. We are going to do everything possible for us to go through.
“It won’t be easy, but we are more than ready. We respect them, but we don’t fear them.”
His counterpart, Peter Mponda played down their convincing victory in the league, saying they expect a tough match.
“But we are ready for them,” he said.
In another quarter-final second leg, Karonga United host Mighty Wanderers at Karonga Stadium tomorrow.
The Nomads carry a one-goal advantage having edged Karonga 1-9 at Kamuzu Stadium.
